A new body for digital health mission was proposed by the National Digital Health Blueprint. The summary of the discussion for the same has now been added to the public domain. A public consultation on the same was held in New Delhi. Comments to the blueprint is now closed as the last date for adding the same was 4 August!

With the world going regional, it is of no surprise that brands have started opting for regional content creation. It was revealed in a report that 65% of the content created in Momspresso.com regional languages, and accounts for 85% of page views. Momspresso.com revealed that regional language page views on it’s platforms grew by 180 %. This growth was led by Hindi which contributed to 65% of page views, followed by Marathi (10%), Bangla (8%), Tamil (7%) and Malayalam (6%).

Microsoft said it has collaborated with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to impart digital skills to more than one lakh underserved women in India over the next 10 months. As part of the collaboration, more than 70 hours of course content will be made available free of cost, covering topics such as digital literacy, enhancing employability, nano entrepreneurship, and communication skills. This initiative is an extension of Microsoft’s partnership with NSDC to provide digital skills to over 1 lakh youth in the country. The (latest) partnership is focused on enhancing women’s workforce participation by equipping underserved young women from rural communities with the skills required to thrive in a digital economy.
