Facebook updates advertisers about an interesting feature. The ad units would display content from multiple advertisers within a single ad collection. It's not clear whether the costs would be split evenly or how much control brands would have over the partners they are displayed with.
It is more aligned with on-platform discovery but just in the form of Facebook ads. Facebook updates 2018 are raising the bar and giving the advertisers and users something more to look forward to evry day.
