While Spotify currently has 40 million songs on its platform, YouTube doesn’t give out the exact number of songs on its platform. But, in terms of its library, Spotify is expected to have one of the biggest collections.

 

Google recently launched YouTube Premium and YouTube Music in India as well. So, it has been pushing its users in India to sign up for a free 3 month trial of their app aggressively.

 

Spotify has definitely sent waves in the music streaming app business being one of the best music curation apps in the world. It is not just Spotify but also other music apps such as Amazon Music, the JioSaavan tie-up, Gaana that are getting YouTube worried.
