Three weeks after the app was banned, Madras High Court has lifted the ban from downloading TikTok. The court was of the opinion that the rights of legitimate users must be protected.
The Court brought up the filtering mechanism introduced in the application while lifting the ban. While TikTok might lose its revenue share, experts think the temporary ban might prove to be good because of the increased buzz.
