In an attempt to fight cyber crimes, Tamil Nadu government is setting up 40 cyber stations and 6 cyber labs. These would enable police to retrieve data, including deleted data from mobile phones, computers, software, hard disks, etc. Instead of recruiting more staff for these cyber stations and labs, the state police is planning to train selected persons from the existing staff.
