Instagram has started testing a feature by which the users one is following can be grouped into categories. This would make it easier to figure out who to unfollow and manage their following as well. The feature is not available for mass use yet. Instagram's feed is based on an algorithm where it shows accounts that users interact with the most frequently at the top.
